Dya Ghose Radhakeesoon

Dya Ghose-Radhakeesoon co-founded ETUDE GHOSE in 2006. She is an attorney-at-law and she heads ETUDE GHOSE. Dya read law at the University of Mauritius and topped at the Attorneys Vocational Examinations in 2005.
Since then, Dya has acquired considerable litigation experience, having appeared before every jurisdiction in Mauritius and before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London. She has further been advising local and foreign companies, global business companies, local banks, financial institutions, local authorities, parastatal bodies. Dya is involved in arbitration proceedings and is often solicited to chair disciplinary committees. She has a special interest for commercial disputes and regularly advises on issues relating to company law and insolvency, trust law, securities law. Dya is the youngest daughter of a family of four Attorneys. Her late father, Mr. Munn Datta Ghose, established the first solicitors’ firm of the family, in 1971. Mr. Munn Datta Ghose, Attorney was followed by her three daughters, all of whom have today embraced the legal profession in Mauritius. Beyond her love for law, Dya shares a passion for the art and science of Feng Sui in which she followed a course through an international coach. Dya has applied those energy principles to her working and everyday environment. |
Sweta Ramsooroop

Sweta is a competent and charismatic practising Barrister in the litigation team at Etude Ghose.
She has a passion for litigation and her areas of practice include Civil Disputes, Employment Law, Family law and Company Law. In addition to litigation, Sweta is also well versed in client conferencing, opinion writing and drafting pleadings. She appears before all the courts of Mauritius as well as before tribunals, committees, and panels. She advises clients and appears on their behalf in different areas of law including civil law, commercial law, employment law, public procurement law, data protection law and arbitration. Sweta read law at the University of London and did her Bar professional Training Course at the Cardiff University where she was awarded the Vice – Chancellor’s International Scholarship in 2017. Sweta is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and of the Mauritius Bar Association. Sweta shares a special love for animals and devotes her free time to sports and social work. |
Dhinisha Ramlochun

Dhinisha is perceived as one of the most strong-willed barristers at ETUDE GHOSE. She is enthusiast and committed.
Dhinisha specialises in corporate commercial litigation, insolvency and arbitration. Her areas of practice extend to areas of civil law and competition law. She is also well-versed in drafting and vetting of legal documentations. Dhinisha is also very good in opinion-writing and legal research. She has been involved in the preparation of due diligence reports and voluntary takeovers and mergers.Dhinisha forms part of the litigation team at ETUDE GHOSE and regularly appears before all jurisdictions of Mauritius. She acts as junior to senior counsel whom the ETUDE instructs on a regularly basis in complex commercial and civil litigations. Dhinisha read law at Middlesex University, United Kingdom. She is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and of the Mauritius Bar Association. In her own sweet time, Dhinisha is a yoga practitioner. She loves baking, swimming and badminton. |
Akshav Mossuddee

Akshav is blessed to be the sole gentleman amongst the ladies’ practitioners at ETUDE GHOSE. Akshav has shown his commitment to the law and to our practice.
Akshav is involved in drafting of legal pleadings, opinions and issues legal advice on corporate matters with a particular focus in employment-related issues. He is also in charge of the debt recovery department and offers personalised practical advice to clients. Besides, he regularly assists lawyers in their legal research. Akshav commands civil procedure law which is an essential tool for best practical strategies. He assists in case management in the office. He is further responsible for the training and professional development of our practice trainees. Akshav graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom with an LLB (Honours) degree. He has followed the courses dispensed by the Council for Vocational Legal Education, Mauritius and is currently waiting for results after having sat for the Attorneys’ examinations in 2019. Outside professional life, Akshav is a great football fan. He is also a gym freak and enjoys cooking and discovering healthy food. Akshav further makes time to attending German and Spanish-learning classes. |
Rudayya Zahraa Elahee

Zahraa is a competent and dedicated young lady with an outgoing personality. Fresh, spontaneous and energetic, she brings new thoughts and ideas to the chambers. Zahraa focuses on compliance, fund administration services and trust law.
She is involved in drafting of legal documentation and reviewing of corporate documents. At the same time, she keeps a foot in the litigation team and provides valuable assistance in legal research. She has a particular interest for administrative law and company law and practice. Zahraa heads the family law department of the office and is in charge of drafting and client counselling in this field. Zahraa joined the set as practice trainee. Prior to joining ETUDE GHOSE, she was a legal Intern at the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies, in Mauritius. She graduated at the Aberystwyth University, in Mauritius with an LLB (Honours) degree. She has followed the courses dispensed by the Council for Vocational Legal Education, Mauritius and is currently waiting for results after having sat for the Attorneys’ examinations in 2019. Zahraa assists her father in community work, including projects geared towards Environmental protection against climate changes, gender equality and youth inclusion. |
Jyotshna Chummun

Jyotshna brings a breath of fresh air to the office. She is a paralegal at the office.
She assists in taking witness statements, in drafting of pleadings and legal opinions and in legal research. She is more involved with the debt recovery and family department whilst at the same time acquiring experience in civil litigation. Jyotshna has joined the research team and often makes presentations on different areas of law to keep the members updated on recent development in the jurisprudence in Mauritius and around the world. Jyotshna freshly graduated with LLB (Honours) degree at the University of Mauritius. In her spare time, Jyotshna loves hiking, discovering about different cultures and playing badminton. |
Hemsheekha Dussoye

Hemsheekha is the youngest member of the office. Behind her timid airs, lies a strong willingness to succeed. She is a paralegal and has recently joined the team. Already, Hemsheekha’s contribution to the legal research department is valuable.
She actively contributes in taking clients’ statements and in legal research. Guided by her seniors, Hemsheekha drafts legal documents, legal opinions and legal pleadings. She attends promptly and effectively to clients’ queries. Hemsheekha has a good command of different areas of Mauritian law and is up to date with the recent development in local jurisprudence. Hemsheekha is the holder of an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of Mauritius. Hemsheekha enjoys trail running and forcefully encourages others in the office to join her. She also enjoys cooking and often makes us taste her home-cooked delicacies. |
Nerina Jottee

Nerina, joined ETUDE GHOSE almost since its inception. She is the backbone of the office. She maintains the balance in the office and ensures that everyone at the office is mentally fit for duty. She is the confidante of the members of the office and is always ready to help.
Nerina is the Head clerk in the dispute resolution team. She has over 15 years’ experience as attorney’s clerk. She has superb organisational skills. She has extensive experience in case management and in assisting with the management of complex litigation cases and handling of documents in intensive litigation. Working closely with the firm’s practising lawyers, Nerina assists clients throughout the course of litigation, from commencement to resolution. She keeps clients updated of their cases on a regular basis and attends to all their queries in a timely manner. She is a valuable asset to the firm in terms of trial preparations. Nerina is well-versed in handling extra-judicial matters. She is further well acquainted with service processors in Mauritius and abroad. Nerina handles the e-judiciary system beautifully and efficiently. She maintains good personal networks with the administrative staff of the judiciary which is key to get things moving, fast and efficiently. Nerina is a compassionate wife and mother who cherishes the time she spends with her family. To her, quality weights heavier than quantity. |
Christina Renghen

Christina’s smile lightens up the office. She attracts with her warmth and compassion.
Christina is a law clerk at the firm. She provides administrative support to litigation team and assembles case materials by collecting, organizing, and summarizing information, documents, reports, and evidence. Christina is responsible of case management for lower courts, tribunals, committees, panels amongst others. She maintains the office’s calendar by entering and updating court dates, meetings, and deadlines. With her experience in customer care and support, she manages nicely and satisfyingly her portfolio of clients, regularly updates them, attends to their needs and readily assists them. She has shown an interest in drafting of legal notices and is putting all efforts in this learning process. Christina is very fond of dancing. She masters different types of dancing including Bharata Natyam, modern dance and hip hop dance. |
Yeshna Dindoyal

Yeshna is the free spirit of the office. She is bubbly and boosts up the energy of the office. She is versatile and is an all-rounder. She ensures the day-to-day smooth running of the office. She welcomes visitors at the reception desk and is the administrative officer. She ensures flow of communication between clients and members of the office. She sets up appointments, manages the allocation of the boardrooms, provides assistance in file keeping and preparation of court files and briefs.
Yeshna also performs the functions of accounts clerk at the office. She is responsible for book-keeping. Over and above, Yeshna handles HR functions and puts up all that is needed to ensure a safe and conducive environment at work. Yeshna has shown a particular interest in matrimonial matters and has willingly volunteered to handle the portfolio of clients of the family department. She copes very well with that tasks and she is much appreciated by clients for her services. Yeshna enjoys road trips with thrill of the open road. She is a dog lover and finds pleasure in spending time with her pets. She is adventurous and enjoys food-tasting. She has an eye for photography and videography. Yeshna is the holder of a Degree (with Honors) in Bsc Journalism (minor: Politics) from the University of Mauritius. |
Goorooduth Chunnilall

Goorooduth commonly known as Manoj, is the homme a tout faire at the office.
He readily assists everyone at the office and makes life simpler for them to the extent possible. He is the despatch person and driver at Etude Ghose. He is also the handy man and his support is valuable to the day-to-day smooth running of the office. Manoj has great interest in cars and enjoys road trips. Spending quality time with his son, is one of the simple pleasures of life for Manoj. |
